I recently got to experience having my hair colored and conditioned at Haarmony Salon and the experience was awesome! I had driven by many times and always wanted to try the salon as I have curly hair (they are curl specialists!) and if it’s not cut properly I end up having to wear it up for weeks while it grows back. Anya and Christina were very attentive to my desires and actually LISTENED when I told them what I wanted to achieve. I am trying to grow my hair and usually when I say “just a trim” I get hacked anyway as if the stylist thinks they’re being paid by the inch! I just straightened it this weekend for the first time since having it colored (since you can leave with the deep conditioner still in your hair to penetrate overnight) and the color looks great! I was slightly concerned about how the roots might blend since I specifically asked them not to apply the chemicals to my scalp since I’m studying toxicity but it came out perfect! I couldn’t be more pleased - will definitely be back and recommend anyone to go give it a try - at least for the conditioning (my hair is STILL SUPER SILKY even after several shampoos) if you aren’t quite ready to cheat on your main stylist!! =) Also, not sure why Yelp is not displaying all the other great reviews but there are plenty more hidden here and on their website also! =)
Anya is a miracle worker! I haven’t worn my hair curly in 20 years. I never had access to a curly hair specialist before. After I moved I found. Haarmony Salon and was excited to find a place that gets curls! It’s hard to trust someone new with my hair, but I felt comfortable from the start since these ladies have curly hair the get it. I got a deva cut and color from Anya. I came in hating my curls misshapen frizz and left loving my adorable bouncy curls. I definitely recommend Haarmony Salon ago anyone who has been struggling with their curls!
Life changing! I didn’t know I was living with a clump of curly hair until Anya worked her magic with the scissors and product (Devacare/Devacurl) to give me independent curls. I have felt like a different person since I saw Anya 4 days ago. In this short time, I have become excited about my hair again and have been singing their praises to all my curly friends. It’s truly the combination of the right style with the right product that makes such a difference. I have a bit of haircut phobia related to my shrinkage factor. Anya addressed this and made sure there wouldn’t be any shrinkage surprises after sitting under the drier. Love, love, love my cut and ‘do. Will definitely make Haarmony my haircut home.
For the first time in years, I wear my curly hair down nearly every day! Thanks to Anya my curls are healthy, wild and free. It’s been nearly a week since I visited Haarmony for the first time, and I can’t believe I’ve been wasting my time and money by going anywhere else. They really know what they’re doing and they are anxious to help you learn how to love your hair again. I got a Devacurl dry cut with Anya, and she really listened to what I wanted. I went from waist-length, unruly curls to a springy, bouncy shoulder-length cut. I was worried a shorter cut would be difficult to maintain, but with the washing and styling tips Anya gave me, my hair is easier than ever. I ended up buying some products (which I NEVER do), and I’m so glad I did. The DevaCurl Low-Poo shampoo and styling gel make it easy to wash and go through my day without worrying about frizz, flyaways, or unruly curls. I no longer have to wrestle my hair up everyday to just keep it out of my way. I may have to throw out my hairties and clips! Thanks, Anya! I will definitely be back.
TL,DR; I really enjoyed my experience at Haarmony with Anya. The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about curly hair. Haarmony is now “my salon”!First of all, my hair is in terrible shape. I wore my hair closely cropped for 35 years. Then one day, I decided to try and grow it out. My plan was originally to try and do a Lenny Kravits like look. Welp...my hair will *not* support that! But I decided to just let it grow and see what I could do with it. As it turns out...not much. At least, I couldn’t figure out what to do with it.Being a typical guy, I use terrible, cheap products on my hair, am physically rough with it, and just generally neglect it. To make matters worse, it’s now starting to thin on top. Every day, I consider just cutting it all off. But as a last ditch effort, I decided to try Haarmony and see if I can make it look decent for at least a little while before I go completely bald.So that’s the condition in which I walked into the studio. After filling out my hair survey, I was introduced to Anya and she began working with me. She asked a lot of questions about my hair-care regimen and studied my hair. She was very matter-of-fact about the condition of my hair and had a very serious demeanor while examining my hair. Watching her in the mirror, I actually felt a little bad for bothering her with my tangled, thinning mess of hair. As if she was thinking, “WTF am I going to do with this?!” Which, in all fairness, she probably was! But she showed me some pictures of hairstyles and got an idea. Then she briefly consulted with Christina and we were off to the races. Once she’d decided what she wanted to do, she was like a different person. First the cut, then washing, then after some time under the dryer, she finished up the styling and made a few adjustments to the cut. She was very pleasant and friendly through it all. She answered all my questions and gave me plenty of tips on how to better care for my hair. All in all, I’m very pleased with my trip to Haarmony. My hair already looks better than before and I’ve got a plan for going forward. For the first time in a long time, I’m excited about my hair. I’ve even been motivated to look into some supplements to try and address the thinning. Provided it doesn’t all fall out, I think I’ll be going to Haarmony for a long time to come. The ladies there really know what they’re doing.
If I had a dollar for every stylist who SAID they knew how to cut my curly hair, I’d have enough to pay for every future hair cut I’d ever need! Christina never even said that, by the way, but came recommended by a curly sister whose hair looked fabulous and - when I arrived - simply set to listening to me and fixing my problems. In under 30 minutes, Christina uncovered and returned my dandelion shape with waterfall curls, she left movement AND order in my hair (not an easy feat!), and caused “me” to re-appear in the mirror. I left not looking different, but so much better. And it had been over two years, fighting back from a bad cut. 30 minutes, et viola!Again, this salon and Christina were recommended to me. That recommender’s hair was beautiful, different than mine but clearly handled by an expert. And now mine is beautiful again as well. And I have already recommended them twice - responding to the, “Oh my God, who does your hair?!” comments several times in only a few days so far. This place actually knows how to cut curly hair. They know, too, how to talk about it and produce what YOU want. I will return soon to correct the colour and finish cleaning up my cuts.
Finally! Someone who knows how to do my hair! First, I will say, I drove 45 minutes to get to the salon and I will continue to do so. Second, I have never spent so much on my hair, but it was worth it! When you first arrive, you fill out some paperwork about your hair, your hair routine, and your expectations. Then Anya discussed everything with me and made recommendations for my routine and products. She then did my cut on my dry hair and gave me a beautiful all over color. Then came the cleansing and conditioning, which is done on massage tables, rather than those horribly uncomfortable chairs (great for those with neck and back issues!) Anya explained the whole cleansing and conditioning process and then applied products before drying with the diffuser. She then finished the cut after drying my hair. Anya listened to what I wanted and needed and thoroughly explained everything she was doing during the process. I am very pleased with my cut and color and plan to continue the drive to this salon.
This is the first time someone has cut my hair while it was dry, and WOW, what a difference. It’s a bit pricey, but Christina really knows what she’s doing. My hair looks better than it ever has, and she also took the time to teach me techniques to keep it looking great. Well worth every penny.
I had been looking for a salon in the Atlanta area that specialized in the DevaCut and I found that in Haarmony Salon and Anya. I must say that I was a bit skeptical at first. After all, I am an African American woman and I walked into a salon staffed by women of other ethnicities than my own. That skepticism wore off as soon as I sat down in Anya’s chair. She was knowledgeable and thorough in her assessment of my hair and she immediately put me at ease. From the first cut I could see my hair transform. By the time Anya finished cutting my hair, my curls had taken on new life. I am beyond satisfied with the way that my hair looks and feels and as far as I’m concerned, Anya has a customer for life.
I’ve been dealing with my crazy curly/wavy frizzy hair for years and for the first time I feel like I can wear it curly and it looks great even in Atlanta humidity. Joie, not only gave me one of the best hair cuts I’ve had in years she taught me how to use the deva curl products that were right for my hair. So glad I finally came here on the recommendation of another curly girl.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED CHRISTINA! She does miracles with hair! The ladies at the salon were very sweet and welcoming. They offered me something drink and were just so nice! My hair was very dry and frizzy. When I first got there I filled out a sheet that asked me what all I put in my hair. After that a met Christina and we talked about my hair. She told me what I was doing wrong with my hair and told why it just makes my hair dry. Than she started cutting! After that we washed my hair and dried it! They even gave me a whole video to watch about curly hair while my hair was drying! I highly recommend going to see Christina! I drove 200 miles just to see her and I will defiantly be going back!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I found Christina and this salon through the website and was visiting for a wedding - all the way from Africa!! I have searched all over the world (literally) for a salon that can handle my curly hair, and now my search is over! It is too bad that this salon is not in my town! I have to come here every time I am in town and I trust no one else to do my hair. Definitely worth it to travel to this salon and let Christina take care of your curls. Thanks Christina!!
Oh my gosh, where do I even begin??? This woman is the Lorraine Massey of Georgia!!! A true curly hair goddess! Am I overdoing it? No! I have NEVER met a stylist like her! I went in yesterday for my first cut in 3 years. For about 2 years, I did my research on curly hair salons and stylists. I found so many with great reviews, but for some reason I kept being drawn to Haarmony Salon. It took me about a year to actually build up the courage and make an appointment. SO GLAD I DID. I was extremely nervous when I went in. I even brought my mom for moral support! As soon as I walked in though, most of my anxiety vanished. The entire vibe in there is VERY relaxing and friendly. You are treated as if you are a long time friend, and it’s not put on or fake! They are genuinely like that! Christina is the most down to earth, friendly, and honest stylist I have ever encountered. She sat with me before even touching my hair, and asked me very detailed questions about my hair routine, what specific products I use, and about my health habits. She also took the time to thoroughly examine my hair, explain to me what type I had, why it was in the state it was in, what I was doing wrong, and how to make it healthy again. She also discusses what you want, and makes sure that you get it. She also makes sure that your cut suits your face shape! I went in with no volume, flat, lifeless, hair, and came out with big bouncy super voluminous curls! For the longest time, I thought I had 3B/3C hair, but after my appointment I realized that I actually have 3A/3B hair! I will say this though, prepare to be there for a while. I would say about 3 hours max. This is not because of waiting, but because they take the time and care to make sure you get the best cut, wash, and style. The entire staff is amazing! Catalina, Ana, and Joie are the bomb! Also, if you’re not someone who can take constructive criticism or frankness, get over it! You need a stylist who is all of those things! How else are you going to learn and understand what’s good for your hair??? Okay, I’ll stop digressing now. I could write 10 pages on how amazing the entire experience was! I have never loved my hair this much! I will definitely be going back for a trim/touch up! I can finally say that I have found my permanent salon and stylist! All in all, THIS is the salon every curly girl should go to!
It has been some time since I visited Haarmony but I am finally getting around to it writing my review. I almost hate to write it but wanted others to be aware of the experience I had. I had heard about Deva Cuts and was really anxious to find a salon who did them. I was really hopeful that I would finally get a good cut given the reviews here for Christina. I was also very hesitant because the cuts there are incredibly expensive. I finally was able to stomach the price but ended up being so disappointed. Everyone in the shop was very nice and accommodating and I LOVED their shampoo beds but I didn’t like how my hair looked at all. It was was shorter than I wanted and rather than looking curly as it usually does, it just had a bit of wave which was not what I was looking for. It just didn’t look good. I was crushed because of the cost and the results. I would be more than happy to pay that much for a good cut but it just didn’t happen for me. Maybe she was having an off day. Based on everyone else’s positive experiences, I am tempted to go back for another try but with the cost, I’m afraid to chance it.
I pondered getting Deva cut for about a year. Christina and her team are fabulous. I was put at ease as I was nervous. The instructional video was awesome and I love that I knew what where the next steps during my entire visit. Joy is a doll and I liked her soothing spirit. I will def spread the word about the salon. I love my new cut and color. Kudos to Haarmony Salon & Studio :)
I was in total hair despair when I finally went to Haarmony on the repeated recommendation of a curly friend. I recently decided to try gentler less toxic care for my hair and did the big chop. It was disastrous, I simply had no clue what to do with multiple types ranging from 2a to 4c, varying porosity and thickness. I was completely frustrated and looked like a used Q-tip when I met Cristina and Chad. I admit I was a little anxious initially because I am African American, what could they possibly know about my hair, right? Wrong! In a relaxed yet professional manner, they started with an in-depth analysis of my hair and what I was doing wrong, then moved on to teaching me how to properly care for my hair. After Cristina did the Deva Cut, I looked like a different person. After having my hair hydrated properly and styled, I felt like a different person. For the first time in my life, I walked away from a salon happy, with exactly the hair I wanted and equipped with the tools and education to maintain it. Fellow African American and mixed race curly girls and guys - It’s not about race; it’s about texture and caring for each individual’s curls in a way that works and works well. That is why Christina Carsillo IS the guru of curls!
Growing up with wavy hair, like my Dad’s, with a stick straight hair Mom, I had no idea what to do with my hair! My Mom had the popular straight hair, and so I did everything I could think of to get straight hair. Sadly, as soon as the summer humidity arrived, or it rained, it was back to the stringy wavy hair. My Mom loved my curly hair and tried to encourage me, but being a straight hair gal, didn’t know what to do to help except tell me to do what she did with her hair! Can many curly girls relate? I think so! As I grew older and grayer, my wave turned to curls, really tight curls mixed with looser curls. One day while shopping at the local bookstore, I picked up Lorraine Massey’s Curly Girl book! Though I’d never met her, I was sure she had chronicled my hair life! So I set about trying to find a curly stylist where I live in central Florida. Over the past 7 years, I’ve had several stylists who said they knew how to cut and care for curly hair, but after 3-4 cuts, my cut would be and look choppy and unkempt, and so I moved on. About a year ago I decided to look elsewhere as I do get up to Atlanta on business from time to time. I found Christina and have been wanting to schedule a curly cut with her for a year. A week and a half (Sept. 12th) ago, I finally got my curly cut from Christina! Wow! She is an artist and really understands curly hair (she has lots of curly hair herself). She grew up in her mother’s hair salon and has spent her career in beauty, so I knew she had a special gift! She paid attention to the questionnaire I filled out and made sure she understood my style and my goals. Then she coached me on curly hair care - HYDRATE! Chad further coached me on curly care and helped with the correct products to use on my hair type. Many salons and stylists are warm and inviting and so is HAArmony. It is rare, however, to find the high level of expertise and excellence along with the warm and inviting ... but you certainly will at HAArmony Salon and Spa! And guess what? 11 days later, my hair looks just as good, when I care for it! I heartily recommend Christina and her team for your hair care! Thanks Christina, Chad and team for a great hair experience! See you soon!
Throughout my childhood I was always teased about my frizzy, curly hair. I used to try chemical straightening and perms, but it always grew out terrible. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned how to work with it. A few years ago the book “Curly Girl” changed my life. Once I knew the ingredients needed to help my hair, it was much better. But I still needed someone to cut it correctly. My daughter has thicker and curlier hair than I do and I’ve struggled with her hair as well. I found Christina online and saw that she uses Lorainne Massey’s (Curly Girl book author) Devacurl cutting and styling process and decided to have her cut my daughter’s hair to try her out. My daughter came out of that salon beautiful and loving her curly hair. She also learned how to take care of it properly. I felt so at home in the salon watching everyone with curly hair have their hair done to. I knew I’d be back for mine. I made the appointment and was not disappointed. Christina did an amazing job! In 40 years, I’ve NEVER been able to walk out of a salon without either doing my hair myself while still at the salon or washing it and re-doing it as soon as I got home. After my visit, I was so happy to just walk out and enjoy my new hair! My daughter and I will be clients for a long time!
I transferred my hair care to Cristina after having had enough of hair cuts at other places that left my hair either looking very boring/matronly or like I had stuck my finger in an electrical socket. After 1 cut with Christina, my curls were activated and I was on the road to having a healthy mane of curly hair. I also like the fact that she is able to conceptualize what shape of cut accentuates my features & that she really hears me when I say I like funky hair styles and can make that happen.
I have had a wonderful, talented hair stylist for many years, but never had the right cut for my waves & curls. I have wanted to try a Deva Cut for a few years now. I finally decided to give it a try last Friday, and I must say, I’m thrilled! The cut is awesome. Christina, and all of the staff, really know their curls. Not only did I get a great cut, but they educated me on how to bring out the best in my hair. They are lovely, engaging people and a joy to be around! I would highly recommend them!
This salon is great. I drove all the way from New Orleans, LA to visit my parents in Atlanta for the weekend and she took me at 5:40...even though I was supposed to be there at 4pm. Stupid Atlanta traffic and GPS that sent metro the wrong place...but I digress... Christina is so adorable and so is the rest of her staff. They give you snacks and wine, which after a long drive, was very comforting. Christina examined my hair closely, asked me what I needed, and made great suggestions that were in trend. What a relief that she knows EXACTLY what she is talking about! She gave an adorable cut and beautiful highlights. Everywhere I go I get such nice compliments on my hair....I am so happy to have found this salon!! I will definitely be back very soon!
I lived in the Atlanta area for 17 years and have searched all over the area for a salon that could cut curly hair. After trying all the major salons in the area i.e. Curltopia, Van Michael Salon, Helmet and many more I still was not happy. Finally, I decided to try Haarmony Salon after reading positive reviews on this website. My hair was long and looked wavy and frizzy. I am middle aged so this was not the best look. I had given up and was wearing a pony tail every day. Also I was doing my own color (mistake). Christina and Chad looked over my hair and told me it was dry and I needed to have color correction. They were very honest about the status of my hair, so if you are sensitive this might not be the place for you. Christina took off about 6 inches and layered my hair. She also gave me great color. My hair now looks great! I have received many compliments. I will definitely be back to this salon. It was expensive but worth every cent! My only complaint is that I was there over four hours, but I did have alot done. Christina, Chad and crew all try and make your visit to the salon comfortable with drinks, magazines, TV, interesting conversation and instruction on how to make the most of your curls. Tell them Lisa sent you.
This was my first time to Haarmony Salon and it was a good experience. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Christina educated me on my wavy hair so now I know how to style and care for it the correct way. I will be going back. :) Thanks
First let me say I LOVE MY HAIR! For years I have worn my hair straight and rocked it. My natural curly hair was always thought of as a back up plan or something to do every once in a while. After my visit with Christina, I am excited to say that I am rocking my curly hair and loving every minute of it. The entire vibe and energy of the salon was awesome! I loved my experience at the salon; the cut is fabulous and the staff were wonderful.
Curly Specialist? I was intrigued but extremely skeptical. A lifetime of bad haircuts had taken their toll. I finally called to make an appointment and was very anxious when arriving at the salon a few days later. Christina and her staff were understanding and accommodating. A dry cut, standing for a small portion of the cut and “no poo” were things I had never heard of before let alone experienced! Christina is Amazing! She listened, looked and then began her magical transformation! She gave me an awesome cut and taught me how to style my hair. After 43 years of fighting and hating my naturally curly hair, I thought I was the only one that “understood”. Christina taught me so much in that first visit! I have never walked away from a salon feeling that happy and confident! The fact that I can duplicate the style on a daily basis is awesome!! 6 months (3 visits) later, I still love my hair and no longer manage my curl. I embrace my curl! I can’t say enough about Christina the Curl Guru or her staff! Their professionalism, bubbly personalities and skill will definitely keep me coming back for more! Thanks Christina! You Rock!
First I have never had an experience like the one I had at Haarmony Salon and Studio. I was nervous about having my hair cut (dry cut). It truely make sense. Christina is wonderful and my new best friend. She examined my hair for several minutes and ask me several questions before my hair cut. She is truely a professional and takes pride in what she does. Everyone that works there were wonderful to me. I love my hair cut and the education I received. I learned alot and went in thinking that I was doing a great job with my hair...After 47 years I felt that I knew my hair and how to style it. But I learned what I was doing wrong and how to better manage my hair and curls. Chad-did a FABULOUS job with the color of high and low lights. I had the best time. First time to this salon. I noticed the other customers were enjoying their visit as well. I talked to several ladies that are repeat customers and they love coming in for their appointments. It was truely the most fun I had with complete strangers and I honest feel that I left with new friends. If you are in doubt, and never had a dry cut, I encourage you too try this salon. You will be so happy that you did. It truely make sense as curly hair should be dry cut. Plus they will educate you and you will love the end result.
I have been trying to deal with my wavy/curly hair for more than 15 years. I had straight hair until I got pregnant at 35, and after fighting with it for a couple of years, finally gave in and wore it curly most days. I had a stylist I liked when we moved in the Tampa area, but when we moved to Chattanooga over four years ago, I could not find anyone who really did a great job with my hair. I wore it long, for more than 10 years, but I was in the mood for a change, and, after looking on this site, decided to drive two hours south to the Atlanta area to give Christina and the Deva cut a try. What a great decision! I’ve never had a better cut or color, for that matter. Christina’s great team took me in right away. I’d brought my mother, and they made sure she was comfortable as well. They asked me a number of questions about my hair, and then Christina got to work. I’d decided to take off several inches, and we needed to update the color. Christina spent a lot of time on the cut. She had me stand up and made more adjustments, then had me flip my hair and made even more adjustments. After a washing and some treatment, we moved on to color and then styling. At each step, Christna was very focused - my mother said she’d never seen anyone so focused on providing great service - and her team (Alex and Joy, I believe) were excellent. Christina spent a lot of time with each of her clients; even though she was busy, she made sure each person got her full attention. When we were done - several hours later - I was amazed at what she’d done. I looked and felt younger and more modern, and my hair looks much healthier. The color is amazing, and it’s much more stylish and easy to care for. I washed it four days later and styled it using my usual products. It still looks great. It’ll take me a while to find the right mix of products and learn how to style it as well as Haarmony did, but I am very happy. I highly recommend Christna and Haarmony Studios. I don’t like spending that much money on my hair, but every time I catch my reflection, I am glad I did. I’ll be back!
After moving to atlanta from new york city 6months ago i’ve FINALLY found someone to cut and color my curls! i had been going to curltopia and had gotten a terrible pintura color job...so bad that i had to go back FOUR times to get it even close to what i wanted. so needless to say i was on the hunt again for a stylist to trim and color and maintain my curls. i found Christina on the deva website, and read all of her great reviews...and now i know why. she’s incredible. the minute i walked into her salon she knew exactly how she was going to fix my color and give me something that looked much more natural and flattering highlights that dont require a lot of maintenance. and the best part is she explain exactly what she was going to do and put me totally at ease. everyone at her salon is great...super friendly and awesome at answering all your questions and showing you how to style your hair. i also got my eyebrows done by chad there and he’s great! my ONLY gripe is that i was there for a quite a while...but i got a trim, color and deep conditioning treatment, so thats bound to take a while and it wasn’t like there were a ton of people ahead of me...lots of one on one attention which makes the process great and fun and enjoyable...just a bit long. i will be back to her salon soon! loved the experience and the results!
Well of course I had to wait at least 3 weeks before giving a good review. Christina is the best. I absolutely love my curls. I had an awesome tim while I was there. The atmosphere is relaxing. Historically I have spent no less than a hundred dollars to just get the basic style done at a salon. Most of the time I never liked the job that was done to my hair, nor was I ever able to actually manage my hair after my visit to the salon. I also have spent tons of money on products that wouldn’t quite do the job. My biggest hair issue was frizziness, which caused me to have big hair. Christina and her team showed me how to successfully manage my hair and gave me style that I really love to look at. The best part about this is that before I washed my hair almost everyday, andnow 3 days from the day of doing my hair it still looks really good. I am done with walking aroung with a wet head everyday only to have big hair before the day is over. Thanks Christina and Chad. I had a blast.
I live in Hawaii and don’t get to the mainland too often, but when I do, I try to make the most out of every trip. This trip while visiting friends and family in Atlanta, I decided to get a haircut. I had been hearing a lot of buzz about the deva cut and thought surely Atlanta would have quite a few deva certified stylists. With that in mind, I began my web search. Over and over again, the name Christina Carsillo continued to pop up. So after reading her bio, browsing her website, and reading about how great she was with curly hair, I figured that I’d give her a shot. I sent an email to schedule an appointment and later that night I received a response that Christina could see me two days later. On the day of my appointment, I walked in and was immediately welcomed at the door. Was even offered drinks and snacks. Christina was finishing up another head. Meanwhile, another stylist with a bubbly personality (can’t remember his name) gave me a questionnaire to fill out that gathered bits and pieces about my hair routine and personality. I imagine they do this to get an idea of who you are and what your daily hair routine is. By the time I finished the questionnaire, Christina was over introducing herself and rummaging through my curls. As she tried to determine my curl pattern, she gave me styling and maintenance advice according to what I had written on the questionnaire. Her knowledge of curly hair was astounding. Anywhoo, to make a long story short, I walked in to Christina’s salon with curl patterns that ranged from 2b to 3c all pretty much one un-even length that reached mid back. My ends were split and my hair lacked any shape. As I expressed what I envisioned for my curls, she began to work her magic on my dry curls. At first I was a little concerned when I saw the long pieces falling to the floor. And for a moment, I wanted to cry out, NO! Don’t cut so much, but instead I held my breath an watched the long pieces hit the floor. She finished the cut and I was still uneasy about what had just taken place (my hair was now in an afro state). After the cut, I was led to Joy, the Shampoo stylist. Joy did a fantastic job washing and deep conditioning my hair. Her technique almost put me to sleep. My curls were then dried with a diffuser. As each moment passed, I saw my newly layered curls come to life. I couldn’t believe my eyes, my curls were curling perfectly. Moment by moment I began to fall in love with my new cut! By the time they were finished diffusing my hair, I was grinning from ear to ear. Christina put so much life into my curls. I have never had anyone else bring this much life to my hair. I will definitely be coming back at least 3 times per year. Hawaii or not, there’s no distance far enough to keep me from her. She is truly amazing.
The minute you walk into the salon you are greeted with a very welcoming owner and her staff. I have never felt comfortable in a hair salon before and immediately felt at ease. Christina spent a good amount of time talking with me about the difficulty I have styling my hair and the many cuts and styles I have had in the past, all resulting in hair pulled back in ponytails and buns or even worse under a baseball hat. The knowledge Christina has is very apparent as well as her staff being very well informed with the issues curly hair girls experience and to have your stylist actually have curly hair was amazing. I have never had a stylist with curly have give me a cut. Not only do you receive probably the best cut ever, but you are given information through video and discussion with Christina with instructions on care of curly hair and styling tips! This was amazing! So many helpful hints and not once did I feel rushed. It is definately worth the drive for me and I intend on taking my family there as well. Not only does this salon provide quality services they truly CARE about their clients and needs. It was just an unbelievable experience and quite frankly I could have cried at the end of my service I was so pleased. I also had no idea that Deva Curl existed or there was SPECIFIC training for cutting curly hair until I was searching curly hair styles. I think it is wonderful that the hair industry has pinpointed a REAL GAP in the area of people with various types of curly hair. I think it is a segment that has long been ignored. I am so thankful to have found Christina and her salon. Her staff was wonderful as well and everyone so friendly. You felt “at home” the moment you entered the salon.
I am so excited about my hair!! Christina is AMAZING! She really knows what she is doing. I have been meaning to go to her salon for YEARS now, and I finally decided to make the appointment and just go. And, I am sooo happy I did. I have never had a dry cut before, but I totally understand why it is important for curly hair. It was so neat to watch Christina work. She has a belt that she wears with different scissors and she pulls out the different scissors and does her magic. I was a little nervous at first as I watched her cut long pieces of my hair off, but the final result is amazing and so much better than any other cut I have received. My husband really likes and and described it as “so much more modern and upated.” The curls fall in the right places and I feel like my outfits even look better! She did pintura color with caramel and auburn colored highlights and they are beautiful and natural. I couldn’t wait to get home and take pics and post them on facebook. I couldn’t believe all the positive comments that my friends and family wrote about my cut and color. :-) I really enjoyed my experience in the salon—I was so comfortable, was offered a glass of wine and I felt like I could sit back and relax, because I knew I was in good hands. Christina is confident and friendly and I really enjoyed talking with her and the other staff while she worked. The staff is extremely nice—the girl who washed and later dried my hair was so friendly and personable ( I wish I could remember her name.) They spent so much time on my hair, I felt that the price was worth it ( I was there for about 4 hours). Thank you, Christina and Haarmony staff for the fun experience and beautiful hair cut.
Christina was wonderful! She gave me a much needed trim that completely reshaped my hair. She cut my hair dry and then “shampooed” with Diva Curl No Poo. Normally I’m resigned to letting my hairdresser wash my hair with shampoo so it was a relief to not worry about that. She went over the curly girl method and gave me a lesson in how to apply gel to my hair to help encourage my canopy to curl and not lie flat on my head. She was the first hairdresser I’ve ever been to who completely dried my hair (briefly with a hood, then with two (TWO!) very patient ladies with diffusers) and made sure my final style was one I liked. Finally, she went over several styles I could do with my hair instead of just throwing it up in a bun, like I normally end up doing. The day after the cut, my hair still looked great! It’s an hour and a half drive for me to get to this salon, but it’s one I won’t ever complain about making!
I am so thankful to finally find a local professional hair stylist who specializes in curly hair! Ever since moving to GA, I’ve dreaded going to get a hair cut locally (for me it was worse than going to the dentist). I would even travel to South Florida to get my hair cut at my old salon. This changed from the moment Christina began cutting my hair, I knew I was in good hands and was so happy with the outcome. Three weeks later, I am still enjoying being able to maintain the style using the products & techniques Christina recommended. I’m a loyal customer from now on! If you have curly hair, you will not regret visiting Christina’s salon - she is the best there is! Thank you Christina! Can’t wait until my next visit!
Christina is WONDERFUL! She is the first person in 34 years who has cut my hair the way it should be. She is so kind and generous. Everything thing she does makes you feel so special. She is devoted to her job and devoted to her customers. I had a terrible color job and pitiful cut when I came in to her salon, and when I left I felt like a million bucks!!! Also, she (to my shame) educated me on how to take the best care of my hair and style it. Thank you, Christina, you are THE BEST!
I absolutely LOVE my new haircut and style that I received this past Saturday from Christina! My hair was heavy, the curls were weighed down and frizzy. Now, oh my gosh, my curls are very full, soft, yet well-defined and very bouncy. I couldn’t stop looking at my curls in the mirror. I was afraid that I would not be able to duplicate what she did in the salon, but after a couple days of perfecting what she taught me - my hair looks as good as the day I walked out of Haarmony Salon. I can’t wait for my next appointment, which will be for color. She is a perfectionist and a professional curl aficionado! I drive an hour to her salon and it’s very well worth it - she is the BEST! Thank you Christina.
I had been jumping around from one hair stylist to another for a few years, until I met Christina. Her hands are magical and she is very passionate in what she does! My hair has never looked better than it does now. Not only are the length and color perfect, but every single curl on my head is perfect! She is an AMAZING person, always positive, very professional, and fun to be around. Thank you Christina for showing me that having curly hair isn’t such a bad thing, and for making me look beautiful! I always look forward to my appointments at Haarmony Salon & Studio!!!
I am so glad that I found Haarmony Studios and Christina. The past few months I have started using DevaCurl products and realized I have curly hair. I then started doing research to find a salon that would know how to cut and style curly hair. Well I found Christina and the rest is history. I had my first visit yesterday. She is a wonderful person and she did a fantastic job on my hair, I have found my stylist. I will never let anyone else touch my hair! Thank you Christina!
Okay, I have lived with curly hair for 20 years, and for all those 20 years I have nothing but hated my curly hair. My parents divorced when I was really young and I lived the majority of my life with my dad who - low and behold - did not teach me how to deal with curly hair at all. I distinctly remember him ripping half my hair out every morning trying to comb through the giant lion’s mane that was my hair when it was dry. Which of course only made my hair turn into an even more enormous ball of puff. Well I walked into Christina’s salon this past Friday with that same dry and crazy hair that I’ve fought with all my life. I looked like I was smuggling poodles on my shoulders. From the moment she arrived she was nothing short of warm to both me and my friend. She gave me tips throughout my entire visit on how to better control my hair. When it came to the actual styling she cut my hair dry first then washed and put product in it, and she made sure to show me the process in depth and how I could replicate it at home. I can honestly say that when she was done my hair looked better then it ever had in my entire life. She even showed my friend how to do her hair. We were both looking so great when we left the salon we spent the rest of the day out showing everyone. I don’t think I’ll ever let anyone else do my hair if I can avoid it. If you are on the fence about going to Cristina’s salon schedule your appointment now, because I promise you will not regret it!
Discovering ‘Curly Girls’ was an life-changing event for me and I embraced the CG/no Poo lifestyle from that day on. But while liberating myself from the hairdryer and round brush was easy, getting the best out of my thick, coarse, 2c clumps was like a long trek that never ended. I didn’t seem to find the right products, fretted over the right method to maximize any chance of true curls and the right cut. I tried a couple of salons mentioned on this site, but even there I was disappointed - they insisted on shampooing my hair and wet-cutting it, and took way too much trouble styling it (when I know that I never have the time nor the talent to reproduce their results). So I took the plunge. I decided it was time to splurge on me. And I have to say I couldn’t be happier. The salon is unassuming and quiet (appointment only) and you are made welcome from the get go. From the minute Christina touched my hair, I knew I was in the right place! She knew the problem spots (very heavy thick section on back right), identified a problem I didn’t have a clue about (oily scalp), decided on a style based on my face shape (the only stylist ever to voice a thought about my longish oval face) and then gave me an age appropriate cut. Throughout the entire visit, Christina showed me how to use the products correctly for my type of hair and to achieve the desired effect; I watched in a mirror while she showed me how best to apply gel yet let the waves remain ‘loose’, and how to dry my hair upside down with paper towel properly (not how I had been doing it!) Long story short, I left the salon lighter in wallet, but feeling so good that I felt lighter in spirit! I look like a different person in the mirror, but I still look like ME, not what someone thinks I should look like. And most importantly, I feel more in control of my hair - I am sure that I will be able to take care of my waves from here on, thanks to Christina!
As one who has lived in Africa, Asia, Europe and now the US, I can honestly say that Christina has a true understanding of not only curly hair but what the ultimate look will be once you leave her salon to go about your daily activities. Have you walked out of a salon and drove away keeping your car windows rolled up for fear of wind damage?... yeah the dreaded Good Hair syndrome. I can tell you for a fact that her styling techniques take all that into account and to test my new found stylist I did what no one would dare.... I drove off with all 4 windows rolled down plus the sunroof which extends to the back seat too... well Ms. Christina, you have passed the ultimate test! My hair enjoyed the wild ride.. as I did... and when I got to my destination, it looked wildly soft and touchable which naturally defaults to sexy and playful.... BTW I have mixed hair which can get a little poofy on me...lol Christina’s magic is in the cut... I watched her transform limp long hair into bouncy lively curls with lots of volume and character... and all she used was a pair of scissors!... I now have a new respect for the scissors... So, to everyone out there, product can only do so much... your stylist holds the key to all your great hair days... Try Christina... you won’t regret it.
I’ve gotten a Deva cut in a lot of places - DC, Tampa, NY, Miami and Christina is among the best of them all! She is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable. Most importantly, you can tell that she really loves and appreciates curly hair. She gave me a fantastic cut and some really good everyday practical tips. I highly recommend her!
I am one happy client of Haarmony Salon!! Christina knows her stuff, and teaches you what she knows. I drove an hour for a great haircut. I received that and so much more! Christina makes you feel very comfortable. She takes her time to make sure you look your best and that you know how to replicate your style at home. Christina is defiantly my new hairstylist!
Curly-Girls! OMG! My experience with Christina was absolutely incredible! In choosing her as a stylist, I relied on her expertise but mostly on reviews, and you guys THEY WERE TRUE 100%!!!! Christina is professional and personable and she knows her stuff! She took the time to educate me on not just curly hair but how to get the best out of my hair. One of the main things I noticed about her is that she not only cares for your hair, she wants her clients to not just look beautiful, but feel beautiful and proud of their natural curls. She’s really an awesome person and an incredible stylist. Oh! Did I mention my hair was a damaged mess?? She was able to salvage my girls by giving me a super cute cut and gave me tips on how to care for my curls at home. I LOVE MY HAIR CUT (my boyfriend even complimented my cut), I LOVE MY HAIR AGAIN! YOU WILL NOT REGRET your visit with Christina!
First hair cut 1 week ago. Went in after having had a disaster haircut several weeks before. Definitely the most thorough job anyone has ever taken with it, checking how the curls fell from every imaginable angle. She fixed someone else’s horrible mistake. I love it! Truly the best haircut I’ve ever had. Can’t wait for next time to try out color too!
Christina gave me a great haircut. Before starting my haircut, she listened to complaints about my hair, and addressed each one systematically. She was patient, and taught me some easy tricks to use at home. Two days after my haircut, I couldn’t be happier! I can’t wait to go back and get my hair colored!
Christina Carsillo is the best curly hair stylist! I loved my curls before I went to Haarmony Salon to get my first Deva Cut but when she was done with the cut I love my hair even more. Like the rest of curly girls in this world I used to go to a hair dresser that would cut my hair wet, thank God I never had any traumatic experience with a hair cut before I knew there was a way to make the best o...f my hair with the appropiate hair cut. I found Christina on the Devachan website a few months ago but I was so afraid to go to her salon, then I started my reseach for a curly hair stylist last week and I found her website again. I took the time to read all the wonderful and reassuring reviews that other satisfied curly girls wrote about her that I decided to give her a shot!! SHE IS AMAZING!! She has a glowing personality, makes feel welcome and like other reviewer said is just like visiting a friend! I know going to her for a hair cut is a little on the expensive side but look at it this way, you are going to a professional that understands curly hair, knows how to cut it and teach you how to take better care of your hair. I know that you won’t be disappointed. If you are in the Atlanta area make an appointment with her, she will show you have the most beautiful hair you have ever seen! I will go back in 8 weeks to color my hair for the first time in 5 years! Thank you Christina you will be my hair stylist for life!

I have been searching for a stylist who specializes in curly hair for almost 2 years. I have been natural for almost 5 years now and have tried several salons to help me with my hair. My last and final visit to a non-curly salon was Ulta for a cut. The stylist assured me she was able to cut naturally curly hair.....obviously she didn’t know what she was doing since she cut my wet... which is a NO NO for us curly girls. After this bad haircut I knew I had to find a stylist that knew what they were doing. I found that in Christina. My experience was FABULOUS!!! For once I was asked about my hair and my goals for my hair. This was not an experience like I had ever had before. Christina was very knowledgeable about how to get my curls more defined and how to style and cut my hair to work with MY curl pattern. Curlies... my search is over, I have found my stylist!!!!!
I have been going to Christina on and off since 1997. After several years without seeing her, my husband tracked her down and made an appointment for me himself ! That in and of itself is a testament to how good she really is! I have worn my hair curly since my teenage years and have experienced some bad haircuts! Many stylists claim to know how to work with curly hair, but Christina is the expert. She has extensive knowledge about curly hair and always takes the time to consult with you and assess your curls before she begins cutting. My curly haired teenage son recently began going to her and has since embraced his own curls! She keeps up on the latest trends and products while taking your own personal style and taste into consideration. My son and I have had so many compliments on our hair over the last year since my husband reacquainted us. I drive about an hour to see her, but it is more than worth the trip. I can also go longer between cuts because she does such an amazing job of shaping each individual section of my hair. If you are frustrated with your curls or feel like there is nothing else you can do with your hair, consult with Christina. I promise you will see a difference in your hair and you will learn something new about styling and haircare. Christina will make you feel proud to have curls!!!
After years of being frustrated with traditional hair cuts I started looking on line and found this site. Then I found Haarmony and Christina! I can’t tell you what a difference this haircut has been! Christina took time to evaluate my hair and the issues I have been dealing with. She also did an unscheduled color correction to my highlights. Wonderful results that I am loving every single day! She is a bit of a drive for me but well worth it for fab results! Thank you Christina!
Christina is amazing both as a stylist and as a person. If you have curly hair this is the place for you! She is more expensive than I was used to spending ($130 for cut & color) but less than many in the Atlanta area. She is absolutely worth the money, even if you have to eat beans and rice for a month! The salon itself is very relaxing and she plays the most wonderful music :). She is very into health and fitness and is just a neat person to be around, she has an uplifting quality about her. I can go in feeling down and leave feeling like a million bucks- inside and out!
Christina is a miracle worker with my frizzy curly hair! It is the best it has ever looked. She took her time. She showed me how to style my curls. She explained everything. I had so many compliments after I left her salon and my husband loved it as well. On top of being the best style and cut I have ever had in my many years of dealing with this crazy hair, she was so kind and made me feel right at home in her salon. Thank you!!!!!!!
I have been looking for years for someone with the know-how to work with my curly hair - to bring out its best. Then I found Christina and Haarmony Studios and my search is OVER! Christina is not only an expert in curly hair, but she took the time to really study my hair as it relates to my face shape. I was nervous as this was my first dry cut, but I will NEVER go back to the “old” way! Christina is a true master of her craft, and she makes you feel beautiful and comfortable all at the same time. If you have curly hair and you live anywhere in the Atlanta area, you owe it to yourself and your curls to drive to Christina’s salon!
For the first time in my life I LOVE MY CURLY HAIR. Christina gave me a great cut, a beautuful color, and she showed me how to get the best out of curls by using the right products and the right process. The salon is beautiful, and she is very knowledgable about trends, and techniques. I highly recommend her for anyone that is not 100% loving their curls.
Two words: Thank You! My curly hair was in a sad state of dried frizz when I went for my first visit to Christina. She gave me a dry Deva cut which gave my heavy overprocessed hair a great new shape. I cannot wait for my return visit in a couple of weeks for color! If you are looking for someone who knows curly hair (she has curly hair herself) and will give you the right cut for YOU, then go see Christina at Harmony Studios!!
I just got my first curly cut from Christina. She was very welcoming and warm. I had mixed curls, soft and wavy in the front and tight curls in the back. She set to work and before I knew it the waves in the front were curly and the back was thinned out and shaped nicely (no more triangle head!). As she styled my hair she took me through each step and made sure I understood what I needed to do to achieve the look at home. This is one of the lowest maitenance hair cuts I have ever had. The next day I was able to recreate the style in a few minutes. In the past it seemed that even if I put on a nice suit, I still looked sloppy because of my unruly hair. Now I can look like a professional, and I feel more confident. Amazing what a good haircut will do. The cut did take quite a while (2 hours), but I assume it will not take as long next time. Her prices are high, but you get what you pay for. I will definitely be going back. A previous reviewer said that she had twice as many curls when she left than when she walked in, which is what persuaded me to try Christina. I was not disappointed.
Christina has been bringing out the best in my natural curls for 12 years. She’s a marvelous coach. She doesn’t apply a certain technique or product without explaining the process. You leave the salon with manageable hair that you feel confident you can maintain until you see her again. She’s the ‘go to’ curl girl.
I brought my five year old daughter to Christina yesterday (drove 1 hour in traffic just to see Christina) My daughter was starting to lose her curls and her hair was turning into a frizzy mess. Christina transformed her hair into a wonderful curly bob and was extremely patient with my girl’s attitude (she fell asleep in the car ride over and does not wake up well).
Christina is a true Godsend and talent! After reading all the great reviews here,I had a feeling she would be the one to help. She cut and corrected my hair the Deva way (dry of course) Then no-pooed, placed clips and put me under the best hood dryer. She really has an eye for where to carefully put the layers so they fit together perfecty. It totally hides that I have 3 types of curl. Plus she even made my straightish bangs look right with my curls, instead of talking me out of them. It’s a huge relief to know now I have the right hairstylist!
I have longer spirl curly hair. Christina not only is able to cut the style perfect for curly but also the cut looks great if I want to straighten it. I started going to Christina when living in Atlanta over 5 years ago and when my company transferred me to Virginia 3 years ago and Alabama last year. I STILL travel to her for a consistant amazing experience on my cut and color. She is perfect for the person who wants to keep the same style or the person that wants to try new styles and looks also with color. I recommend absolutely anyone who is looking for a Stylist that can really grow with you:-) She is SO KIND, CARING AND has become a wonderful friend. Hope to see yall soon at Haarmony on one of my trips to Atlanta to go to Haarmony Studios~
Frizz be gone! Christina did a great job. Immediately after the dry haircut my hair already looked and felt better. She got the weight off of my hair without ‘thinning’ it and a lot of the frizz was gone and my waves/curls were better formed just from the quality of the cut. My hair is also hard to color, and the color looks great. After washing and product - the frizz was gone. She has beautiful curls herself and it really makes a difference to have someone who is not only trained but ‘understands’ and embraces your hair. I have often left the salon flatironed and not knowing what my hair would look like or looking like a lampshade because the stylist didn’t know what to do with it. I am very happy to have found her, Yay Christina!
I have curly hair and Christina did a fantastic job of coloring and cutting my hair. I think this is the only good haircut I have ever had. I will definitely be returning. My hair is especially crazy right now because of hormone changes from having a baby, but Christina made my hair look amazing! Not only does she have training and personal experience to deal with curly hair, but she has an artistic eye so she can transform the hair you have into something beautiful!
Christina cut and colored my hair for the first time yesterday and my hair looks amazing. When I went in my hair was very out of shape and heavy, and the color I had was all wrong for me (even though it had been applied the day before at another salon). I was so pleased the results that I made four more appointments with Christina to insure that I would be covered until the end of the year. In addition to Christina’s incredible talent, her salon if so enjoyable—it is beautiful with a such warm, friendly atmosphere.
I recently had my first Deva dry haircut by Christina. She is great! I was so pleased with her, her talent, her knowledge - everything about my Haarmony Studios experience. She had me watch a brief video on curly hair, then she cut it. The way she cuts it is amazing — every individual curl is cut. When she styled it, she explained everything that she was doing and why. With that, I learned the how, the why, the what and the what not to do with regard to styling. I learned how important gel isto curly hair. When I left there, it looked like I had at least twice as many curls as when I walked in! I look forward to my next appointment, that’s for sure. While there, I met her boyfriend Bryan who has a photography studio at the same location. I looked through albums of photos (models, actors, etc., etc.) that he has taken. His work is beautiful and very professional. So, in case you need pictures taken, I would recommend Bryan. In addition, Christina will do your makeup and hair for pictures that you may need. I very highly recommend Haarmony Studios!! Joanne
I love love love my hair... I went to Christina for the first time last week after seeing the salon reviews on Naturally Curly. I moved to Georgia from LA and it was hard to find a salon that i loved down here. Christina is amazing, she lightened my color and did a full head of highlights. I have received so many compliments on the color. I went from dark brownish black hair to a carmel color with blonde high and low lights. My hair is surprisingly still healthy and shiny after coloring which is not always the case with my 3c/4a curly hair. Not only is she a great colorist/stylist she is amazing to talk to and can teach you so much about curly hair. It was like a hair style change and curly hair lesson in one. The studio is great, amazing music. I would highly recommend Christina, I will be making an appointment for more highlights soon... Thanks Christina.
Christina Carsillo makes you feel like you are home, she is so atentive and lets not talk about her amazing talent, She dyed my hair and did many styles with my hair, now I cannot imagine any other person touching my hair other than Christina! Christina is amazing with hair and her husband is amazing with the camera if you need any photoshoots, therefore they should be your only option.. they are my only option :)
For years, I’ve been frustrated by: (1) bad haircuts that look great when I leave the salon—because the stylist has straightened my hair; or (2) bad haircuts that look awful when I leave the salon—because the sytlist has tried to diffuse my hair and left me with a ball of frizz. I always had the “wait and see” view on a haircut—namely, “I’ll wait until I wash and style it myself before passing judgement.” I have tried to find someone who would cut my curly hair dry and style it in a way that gave me hope for the future. Now, my search is over! Christina was warm and inviting and did a great job fixing my last haircut, which was a bit of a disaster. I wanted a cut that celebrated my curls, but still looked stylish and professional (and a bit edgy), and Christina was able to give me just what I wanted. She cut my hair dry and styled it curly. She even educated me on a great line of products and different ways to style my hair. I am very thankful to have found her, and look forward to visiting Haarmony Studios often in the future!
I had given up looking for a stylist with curly hair expertise and so I let my hair grow. But this year I wanted a change in more ways than one! I love my curls so I started with the hair. The first salon I went to I knew there was going to be disappointment once he want straight for the length! UGH terrible but I continued the search and found Haarmony Studios thru Naturallycurly.com. Christina Carsillo immediately identified my problem (flat top) and went to work. The results are incredible, the compliments never ending and that experience is the start of my change. Christina gave me the confidence boost I needed. She is the BEST! Myrna Roman
I found Christina on Naturallycurly.com. I finally found someone that cut and styled my hair to allow me to finally embrace my curls. I love it. The color is awesome!!! Christina spent alot of time with me. I would highly recommend her.
I was VERY pleased with my experience at Haarmony salon. As a model, I have different hair stylists doing my at every shoot and fashion show, but I think Christina is one of the best Ive had. -For one, she knows curly hair! She knows its texture and tendencies, so she knows how to cut it, color it, style it, and keep it looking and feeling natural at the same time. -And secondly, I love the innovation. I have tried many different hairstyles, cuts, colors, etc, on my hair over the years, but I have never been as pleased with my overall look as I did when I left Haarmony Salon. Seriously, the creativity is amazingly refreshing. Perfect blend of fun and functionality. I couldnt have asked for a better look or a better experience. :)
I’ve always just tolerated my curly hair. If I was lucky, it looked ok, but that wasn’t very often. Finally after all these years, because of Christina, I LOVE my curly hair. To find someone who could tell me what to do with it & show me how to style it was a godsend. My hair looks exactly the same days later, as when I left Christina. That never happened to me in 52 years. My hair never looked the same even an hour after leaving a hairdresser. I avoided them like the plague. I never felt pretty leaving them. Christina is fabulous. She made me look & feel so pretty. I so appreciate having the opportunity to get to know Christina & Bryan.
I found Christina Carsillo about 15 years ago and will not go anywhere else, she knows how to make my hair not only beautiful but healthy, and I get so many complements on my curls it makes me feel like a movie star. She is professional, friendly and it’s a pleasure to visit her salon. It has a very relaxing vibe, yet very trendy. The most impressive thing about her is that when you sit on her chair, you do feel her attention and focus is all on you. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who has ever left a salon feeling the same way as when they came in, I guarantied you this will not happen at Haarmony Studio.
Christina KNOWS curly hair! My hair has never looked better. She is an amazing colorist as well as an amazing stylist! I will never go anywhere else! If you have curly hair and live in the Atlanta area, you MUST go to Haarmony Studios!!
Christina Carsillo is by far the best hair stylist i have ever met! I have curly hair and went to many salons till i found Christina. She is the only one who knew what to do with my hair and it looks great!! She is also so very fun! There is never a dull moment at Haarmony Studios! I will never go anywhere else again!
Ater a long study to better understand the natural state of my hair I set out to locate a stylist who was on the same page. I found Christina! My first cut was one of the best cuts I ever remember receiving. She has now been cutting and styling my hair for over a year. Not only is her technic very good but the salon atmosphere is calm, yet fun. It’s like visiting a friend.
This is NO ordinary hair salon ladies....I was recommended to Christina by a client of mine...and she really raved about her skills as a top notch hair stylist. Having many stylist over the years I was skeptical, but she exceeded my expectations in every way...from her skills with my thick frizzy hair, her desire to make her clients happy to her expertise in color...Harmony studios is the place in Atlanta to get the most amazing hair. She is amazing at makeovers, color, cut, blowouts, keratin treatments etc...I have done them all with her. Take my word for it you will never go anywhere else. Thanks Christina for making me beautiful!
Her salon is so cool! It’s actually a loft built behind her house. It’s pretty awesome! Anyways, Christina is a deva-trained stylist. She does not use shampoo on curly hair. She cut my hair dry, and she was going to rinse/condition/style it but I didn’t have time, so she just scrunched in some product (had silicones, oh well, had to poo later) She uses deva products too. I love the cut!
